Malazgirt District is a district of the Muş Province of Turkey. Its seat is the town of Malazgirt.[1] Its area is 1,595 km2,[2] and its population is 45,371 (2022).[3]

Geology and geomorphology

Cemalverdi Mountains are located in the east of the Malazgirt basin.[4]

Economy

Salt obtained from groundwaters in Malazgirt contributes greatly to the economy of the district.[5]
