MaNaDr is a medical technology company specializing in digital healthcare solutions, focusing on platforms that integrate healthcare services, technology, and patient engagement.
History
[edit]MaNaDr was founded in 2016 in Singapore[1] and began operations in January 2017.[2] Over time, MaNaDr expanded into several countries in the Asia-Pacific region.[2]
In Singapore, MaNaDr began by operating out of a physical clinic at City Gate in Beach Road, but eventually became better known for its teleconsultation services which were widely used.
Products
[edit]The telehealth platform developed by MaNaDr is designed to facilitate remote healthcare services and communications between healthcare providers and patients. It leverages digital technology to deliver a range of healthcare services, including virtual consultations, remote monitoring, and patient management tools. The platform is accessible via both web and mobile applications, allowing users to connect with healthcare professionals from the convenience of their own homes.
Key features of the platform include secure messaging, video conferencing capabilities, appointment scheduling, and electronic health record integration. It aims to enhance patient care by providing timely access to medical expertise, reducing the need for in-person visits when suitable.

Incidents
[edit]On 16 August 2024, MaNaDr Clinic was ordered to stop all teleconsultation services until further notice.[6] This was because of suspected breaches of regulations; according to the Ministry of Health, a large number of MaNaDr's teleconsultations were very short, lasting less than one minute, with the shortest being one second long. Also, some patients were issued multiple medical certificates over a short period of time.[7]
On 24 October of the same year, the Ministry of Health announced that it intends to revoke MaNaDr's medical licence revoked and 41 of its doctors will be investigated for possible professional misconduct. If MaNaDr's medical licence is revoked, it will no longer be allowed to provide outpatient services at its physical clinic at City Gate, at temporary premises such as patients’ residences, and remotely via teleconsultations.[8][9]
