Luis David Peralta Días (born January 6, 2001) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher for the Colorado Rockies of Major League Baseball (MLB).

Career

Peralta signed with Pittsburgh Pirates as an international free agent in July 2017.

On July 29, 2024, the Pirates traded Peralta to the Colorado Rockies in exchange for Jalen Beeks.[1] On August 23, Peralta was selected to the 40-man roster and promoted to the major leagues for the first time, where he retired the first two batters he faced.[2]

Personal life

Peralta's brother, Freddy, is also a professional baseball pitcher, currently with the Milwaukee Brewers.[3]
