Loum Tchaouna (born 8 September 2003) is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for Serie A club Lazio. Born in Chad, Tchaouna represents France at international level.
Club career

[edit]Tchaouna was born in N'Djamena, Chad. He played for youth teams of FC Kronenbourg, Schiltigheim, Strasbourg, and Rennes. He made his professional debut for Rennes on 26 September 2021 in a 1–1 Ligue 1 draw with Bordeaux.[1]
Dijon FCO
[edit]On 30 August 2022, Tchaouna joined Dijon on loan.[2]
US Salernitana 1919
[edit]On 31 August 2023, Tchaouna signed a three-year contract with Serie A club Salernitana.[3] During the 2023–24 season, he was one of the key players of the team, despite their eventual relegation to Serie B, having scored six goals and four assists in 35 appearances in all competitions.[4]
SS Lazio
[edit]On 1 July 2024, Tchaouna joined Serie A club Lazio on a permanent deal for €8.4 million.[5][6] He scored his first goal for the club in Serie A on 31 October 2024 in a 5-1 victory over Como;[7] he scored his first UEFA Europa League goal on 12 December 2024 in a 3-1 victory over Ajax.[8]
International career
[edit]Born in Chad, Tchaouna moved to France at a young age.[9] He is a youth international for France.[10]
Personal life
[edit]Loum's brother Haroun is also a professional footballer. He plays for the Chad national team.[11]
