Living Textbook of Hand Surgery

The Living Textbook of Hand Surgery is an editable and updatable open access textbook for hand surgery in English.

Description

New chapters are added and all chapters are revised as necessary. Before publication, the individual chapters undergo a Peer-Review-process.

  • In accordance with the Budapest Declaration of the Open Access Movement, this textbook is accessible worldwide, barrier-free and free of charge on the Internet. Texts, illustrations, photos and audiovisual media from this book are available to all users for further use, provided the source is cited accordingly (Creative Commons License).
  • The direct cooperation partner is gms (German Medical Science), the open access portal of the scientific medical societies in Germany, which are organized by the Association of the Scientific Medical Societies in Germany AWMF.
  • The Living Textbook of Hand Surgery is published by the non-profit association “Handchirurgie weltweit e.V.”[1]
  • All versions of the articles receive an individual DOI (Digital Object Identifier), so that updates and changes can be tracked.
