The ship struck The Manacles and consequently sank in Godrevy Cove, Cornwall with the loss of 194 lives. Her crew and about 60 passengers were rescued. She was on a voyage from Plymouth , Devon to Quebec City , Province of Canada , British North America .[ 15] [ 17]
