The Minister of Human Rights of Indonesia is the head of the Ministry of Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia. This position began on 29 October 1999 and was first held by Hasballah M. Saad under the name of Minister of State for Human Rights. Subsequently, this position together with the Minister of Law and the Minister of Immigration and Corrections were combined into the Indonesian Minister of Law and Human Rights, which was then separated again.[1]
