Laiba Khan (Urdu: لائبہ خان born 27 January 1997) is a Pakistani actress and model who works in Urdu television. She is best known for portraying Faiza in Zindagi Aik Paheli and Ramsha in Baylagaam. In 2024, she started portraying Sitara Salar Sikander in the romance dramaKaffara[1] Currently she portraying Warisha in ongoing Geo Entertainment dram Aafat.[2]

Laiba Khan was born on 27 January 1997 in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. [3] [4]

Career

Laiba Khan began her acting career in 2018 with a supporting role in the hit drama Babban Khala Ki Betiyann on ARY Digital[5][6][7], where she played Anam, and the show ended on 8 June 2019. In 2019, she portrayed the supporting role of Rafia in ARY Digital's romantic drama television series Do Bol.[8] The same year, she appeared in Mala Mir as Annie and Pakeeza Phuppo as Sadia. In 2020, Khan appeared in Mera Dil Mera Dushman as Ayesha Shahmeer in ARY Digital, which further solidified her presence in the industry. Laiba continued her rise by taking on diverse roles, including Hania in Tarap[9] and Noshaba in Dulhan, both airing on Hum TV.[10]

Laiba’s breakthrough came in 2021 with several notable roles. She played Anzhee in Ajnabi Humsafar on SAB TV Pakistan, Anoushay in Bechari Qudsia[11] on Geo Entertainment, and Nayab in ARY Digital's Angana. In 2022, Laiba Khan played Haseena, her first lead role as a young, pretty but uneducated poor village girl in Haseena, opposite Zain Afzal. The same year she appeared in Kaisi Teri Khudgarzi[12] as Nida Ahsan Ahmad (neé Akram), the tale of three sisters Mehnaz, Maliha, and Faiza, and the way their life changes after their father experiences a substantial financial loss opposite Durefishan Saleem, Danish Taimoor and Hammad Shoaib,[13] further established her as a leading actress in the industry. From 2022 to 2023, Khan played Fizza in Muqaddar Ka Sitara, and the same year, she appeared in 'Zindagi Aik Paheli where she played Faiza. In 2023, she appeared in Tere Aany Se as Rabail opposite Komal Meer and Muneeb Butt.[15]

From 2023 to 2024, Laiba then played Ramsha Afnan (neé Sajid) in Baylagaam, opposite Ali Abbas and airing on Geo Entertainment. In 2024, started portraying Sitara Salar Sikander (neé Jahan) in Geo Entertainment romance drama serial Kaffara opposite Ali Ansari, and the show has become a sensation with millions of views in just one day.

Currently, Khan reunited with Ali Abbas for the drama Aafat as Warisha, a beautiful yet short-tempered girl living with her mother and stepfather.
