Kydran Jenkins (born July 3, 2002) is an American college football defensive end and linebacker for the Purdue Boilermakers.

Early life

Coming out of high school, Jenkins was rated as a three-star recruit and held offers from schools such as Missouri, South Florida, East Carolina, Purdue, Appalachian State, and Georgia Southern.[1] Ultimately, he committed to play college football for the Purdue Boilermakers.[2]

College career

In 2021, Jenkins tallied 35 tackles with eight being for a loss, five sacks, and a pass deflections. In the 2022 season, he recorded 32 tackles with eight being for a loss, four sacks, a pass deflection, and a forced fumble.[3][4][5] In week eight of the 2023 season, Jenkins recorded his first career collegiate touchdown off a fumble recovery versus Nebraska.[6] He finished the season with 57 tackles with 15.5 being for a loss, seven and a half sacks, a pass deflection, two fumble recoveries, a forced fumble, and a touchdown.[7][8] For his performance on the season, Jenkins was named a honorable mention all-Big Ten Conference selection.[9]
