Kodamballi is a Village in Channapatna Taluk in Ramanagara District of Karnataka State, India. It is located 25 KM towards South from District head quarters Ramanagara. 11 KM from Channapatna.The total geographical area of village is 436.22 hectares. It is located along SH-94 of Channapatna-Halaguru Road and is major village connecting many Districts to the sacred places of Kabbalu and Muthathi.

Kodamballi local Language is Kannada. Kodamballi Village Total population is 3279 and number of houses are 765. Female Population is 51.1%. Village literacy rate is 58.2% and the Female Literacy rate is 26.0%[1]. Vokkaligas are found in large number.

Kodamballi is surrounded by Maddur Taluk towards west , Malvalli Taluk towards South , Kanakapura Taluk towards East. Channapatna, Maddur , Ramanagara, Malavalli , Mandya,Kanakapura are the near by Cities to Kodamballi.

This Place is in the border of the Ramanagara District and Mandya District. Mandya District Maddur is west towards this place. The beautiful Chennapaaji hill lies towards the east of the Village. Kabbal Forest and Narikallu Gudda Forest are very to the Village.
