Kaorage (English: Let Me Forget) is a 2006 Manipuri film directed by Khwairakpam Bishwamittra and produced by Ranbir Thouna, under the banner of aar creations.[1][2][3] It stars Denny Likmabam and Binata Laishram in the lead roles.[4] The story and screenplay of the film was written by Laimayum Dhanachandra Sharma.[5] The movie was released at Friends Talkies, Paona Bazar in 2006.[6]

Kaorage got official selection at the First Festival of Manipuri Cinema 2007.[7]

Plot

Leishemba falls in love with Sanarik while they are in Visakhapatnam. They promised to get married after Leishemba returns from a six month long sailing program of the Indian Navy to Prague. Time passes but there are no news of Leishemba's return. The heartbroken Sanarik decides to remain unmarried and opens a welfare trust named as Sanarik Charitable Trust in Manipur. She finds solace there. After few years, Leishemba comes back. He comes to Imphal in search of Sanarik only to be kidnapped by some miscreants. This news reaches Sanarik. After a dedicated operation by the Manipur police force, Leishemba is rescued. Sanarik and Leishemba are united again.

Ranbir Thouna, Chaoson, G. Sanamacha and Doren Hidang wrote the lyrics for the songs. The sound design was done by Nadeem and Roy of Blue Diamond Studio, Mumbai. The songs were choreographed by Menaka Thiyam.
