Kailash Waghmare is an Indian actor who has appeared in Marathi cinema, Hindi cinema and television series, including in Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, Gaabh, Ghoda, and Chandu Champion.
Early life and education
[edit]Waghmare is from Jalna district, Maharashtra, India. He developed an interest in acting from an early age and pursued theater during his college years.[1]
Career
[edit]Waghmare began acting in Marathi theatre, eventually transitioning to films and television. His breakout role was in the 2020 film Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, as Chultya.[2]
He then took roles in Marathi films such as Gaabh (2023)[3] and Ghoda (2023).[4]
Waghmare has also performed as a playback singer in the movie Chandu Champion (2024).[5]
Personal life
[edit]Waghmare is married to Meenakshi Rathod, a Marathi actress. The couple met while working in the film industry.[6]
