Juan Viñas is a district of the Jiménez canton, in the Cartago province of Costa Rica.[1][2]

Juan Viñas has an area of 43.62 km²[3] and an elevation of 1,165 metres.[1]

It is the home of Ingenio Juan Viñas, the main sugar factory of all the Caribbean Basin of Costa Rica. [7]
