John T. Denvir
Appearance
John T. Denvir (1859–1943) was an American champion checker player, chess aficionado, author, and state legislator in Illinois.[1][2] He served in the state senate from Chicago.[3] He was a Democrat.[1]
He published pamphlets and books on checkers including Denvir's Guide to Checkers.[4][5][6][7]
