João Bráulio Muniz (1796 – 20 September 1835) was a Brazilian politician and writer known for his involvement in the political landscape of the Empire of Brazil. Muniz served as regent of Brazil from 1831 to 1835, a position he held during the tumultuous regency period in the country's history.[1]
