Jenny Park (Korean: 박제니; born October 10, 2006) is a South Korean model under Esteem, a modeling agency partnered with SM Entertainment. She was born to a Korean mother and Nigerian father, and was born and raised entirely in South Korea. Jenny's modeling career began in 2020, and she soon after garnered international fame and recognition especially through vlogging her life via popular social media platforms YouTube and TikTok.
Life and career

[edit]Jenny was born on October 10, 2006, in South Korea to a Korean mother and Nigerian father. Growing up mixed race in South Korea, Jenny experienced racial discrimination as well as bullying. Her interest in modeling first developed in sixth grade since then, Jenny maintained an active social media presence, sharing makeup and fashion tips, which attracted the attention of modeling agencies.[1]
Career
[edit]Jenny's career began in 2020, when after enrolling in Hanlim Multi Art School she was signed to SM Entertainment a year after. Since then, Jenny has gone on to model for various brands both domestic and foreign, including Vogue Korea, Vogue Italia, Urban Decay, and Charles & Keith. She has also done advertisements for various companies, such as LG Electronics. From the popularity Jenny has garnered from her career and online persona, she has been recognized as an icon of Gen Z culture in South Korea.[2][3]
