Reception

[edit]

A critic from The Times of India wrote "Jayammu Nischayammu Raa makes you root for the underdog, empathise for Sarvam and makes you want to believe that ‘good conquers evil’. If you have been looking for a good weekend watch with the family, this is it".[4] A critic from The Hindu wrote that "Debutant director Shiva Raj brings out a fine blend of social message and situational humour; this one is sure to grow on you, albeit slowly. A simple story with familiar faces, it slowly but surely keeps you engaged".[5] A critic from 123telugu wrote that "Jayammu Nischayymuraa is a feel good film which has its heart in its place. A small town set up, earthy characters, good comedy and Srinivasa Reddy’s impressive performance will surely go well".[6] Jeevi of Idlebrain.com wrote that "The movie starts off on a promising note by establishing the plot point. But loses steam through half way".[7]
