Jawahar Science College is a co-educational institution managed by the Jawahar Education Society. The college is affiliated with Annamalai University.[1]

History

Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru emphasized the importance of developing science and technology. In his honor, the college was named Jawahar Science College, and several job-oriented courses were introduced. The college began with 120 students and was inaugurated by Minister P. Chidambaram on October 18, 1987.

The college functions in a building in a 40 acres site near NPTI in Block-14, Neyveli, Tamil Nadu, India.
