Jaroslav Bžoch (born 30 November 1983) is a Czech politician of ANO 2011 and former rugby league player. He was elected member of the European Parliament in 2024.[1] He previously served in the Chamber of Deputies, serving as vice-chair of the foreign affairs committee [cs].[2]

Career

Bžoch graduated from the Metropolitan University Prague with a degree in international relations and European studies, and earned a bachelor's degree in business economics and management at Jan Evangelista Purkyně University.[3]

In the 2014 municipal elections, he was elected municipal councillor of Teplice.[4] He was elected regional councillor of Ústí nad Labem Region in 2016,[5] and was elected to the Chamber of Deputies in 2017.[6][7] He was re-elected in 2021.[8]
