History

[edit]

India Ahead is an Indian news channel that was initially led by Chetan Sharma, who served as the Founding CEO and Editorial Director.[3] In June 2020, the Andhra Prabha Group's Managing Director, Mootha Goutam, announced significant changes in the channel's senior management.

Sudeep Mukhia, a former executive from CNN-News18, joined India Ahead as Group President, overseeing News Room Operations and Editorial Strategies. Additionally, Bhupendra Chaubey was appointed as the Editor-in-Chief, while Sudha Sadanand took on the role of Editorial President.[4] These appointments were part of the channel's efforts to enhance its editorial and operational capacities.
