ICFAI University, Tripura (IUT), or in its fuller name The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University), is a private university located in Agartala, in northeast Indian state of Tripura. It was established in 2004 through an Act of State Legislature (Tripura Act 8 of 2004).[1]

Affiliation

The university has been approved by the University Grants Commission (India), under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956.[2] The university is a recognised member of Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU)[3] and the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).[4]

Campus infrastructure

The IUT campus is at Kamalghat, Mohanpur, West Tripura district in Agartala. The university is spread over 32 acres,[5] which has over 6 lakhs square feet of built-up area with academic blocks, laboratories, workshops, auditorium, seminar halls, computer labs, library and other student facilities.
