Description
[edit]The leaves are simple, alternate, and clustered towards the ends of branches. They are tomentose on the lower surface, rhomboidal in shape, and measure 15–45 × 10–20 cm. The secondary nerves are arranged in 25–35 pairs, and the petiole is 2 cm long, stout, and tomentose, with two pairs of appendages. The flowers are white and polygamous, occurring in terminal tomentose panicles. The fruit is ellipsoid, measuring 2.5 cm, with the seed partially exerted from a fleshy torus.
