Holiday Oil
Appearance
Holiday Oil is a gas station and convenience store chain based in Utah with a strong presence along the Wasatch Front. They currently have 75 open stores. Unlike most gas stations and convenience stores, Holiday Oil owns the land underneath every store, they do not lease.[1] The first Holiday Oil opened in 1964 by a returned missionary. The name comes from the Utah city Holladay, but with different spelling. They serve gas from Sinclair and Chevron among others.[2]
Controversies
[edit]- In 2013, a Tooele Holiday put diesel in unleaded tanks, resulting in multiple cars stalling shortly after they pulled out of the station.[3]
- In 2023, they failed to meet storm water requirements in a storm in Lakeside, Utah.[4]
