Reception
[edit]Lynette Nicholas of Common Sense Media awarded the film two stars out of five.[4]
Scott Craven of The Arizona Republic awarded the film two stars and wrote, "Make no mistake, Hold On proves De Ette a talented singer, one destined for success. We didn’t need a movie to see that. A music video would have sufficed."[5]
