Hlyboke (Ukrainian: Глибоке; Russian: Глубокое) is a village in Lyptsi rural hromada, Kharkiv Raion, Kharkiv Oblast, Ukraine. It is located 29.68 kilometres (18.44 mi) south-southwest (SSW) from the centre of Kharkiv city, at about 5.2 kilometres (3.2 mi) east-southeast (ESE) of the Russia–Ukraine border.

History

The settlement was founded in 1930.

Russian invasion of Ukraine

The village witnessed intense fighting in the summer of 2024, during the 2024 Kharkiv offensive of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.[2]

Demographics

As of the 2001 Ukrainian census, the settlement had 1,156 inhabitants, whose native languages were 58.69% Ukrainian, 40.23% Russian and 0.58%.[1]
