I can't revert images!

[edit]

Why can't I revert images? Someone has vandalized a file and it has been like this for 7 days! I don't know how! I'm supposed to have a revert feature since I am a logged in user, but why don't I have one? Please! Codenamememphis (talk) 13:15, 13 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Codenamememphis: What image? Dan Bloch (talk) 17:13, 13 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Does it mean the said user vandalized an image in Wikimedia Commons (the image file itself)? or is it in Wikipedia (on how that image is placed within the article)? Chongkian (talk) 01:30, 7 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

How to revert to the old wikipedia?

[edit]

Recently wikipedia changed the display. It now looks like crap. How can I go back to the prior display type?

The german wikipedia still has the old one. 2A02:8388:1641:5500:8207:8CE:DF2:AB90 (talk) 17:21, 18 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You'll have to register an account and stay logged in. When logged in, there's a link "Switch to old look" near the top left of each page. -- John of Reading (talk) 17:42, 18 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Reversion rule issue

[edit]

The help page does not give much of a guideline on reversion. I got a case where I deleted some unreferenced material. Someone else ignored the request for a ref and reverted it back in. What if you have a legitimate reason for deletion? Can you insist on keeping unferenced material using the 3-reversion rule?Botteville (talk) 15:30, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
