Help! We Bought a Hotel! is a reality TV series broadcast on Channel 4 that follows British entrepreneurs as they buy, restore, and transform abandoned hotels and grand houses across France into thriving hospitality businesses. The six-part series is scheduled to air daily from 2 December to 7 December 2024, with the final episode airing in a morning slot.[1]

Premise
[edit]Hundreds of hotels and grand mansions lie abandoned across France, and the series follows brave British contributors who have fallen in love with these neglected buildings. From purchase to renovation, viewers witness their inspiring journeys as they attempt to restore and operate these properties while overcoming unique challenges. The show offers an intimate look at the trials and tribulations of chasing a dream, from battling tight budgets to navigating complex renovations and business ventures.
Cast
[edit]- Jamie Turner - (musician alas Hēran Soun), who purchased a derelict French chapel. He has now transformed it into a hotel and artist studio space.
- Grace Truscott – A British entrepreneur who transformed a crumbling French manor house into a boutique hotel with a focus on eco-friendly hospitality. Grace's journey is featured as one of the most challenging restorations due to significant structural issues and a tight budget.
- Tim and Ingrid – A couple who left their corporate jobs in the UK to pursue their dream of running a countryside hotel in southern Spain. The series captures their struggles with local regulations, cultural differences, and unexpected setbacks.
