Harbin Hansbrow Moore (November 27, 1869 – October 17, 1955), also known as H. H. Moore, was an American politician. He served as a Democratic member for the 126th district of the Texas House of Representatives.[1]
Life and career
[edit]Moore was born in Texas. He was a farmer.[1]
Moore served in the Texas House of Representatives from 1925 to 1927.[1] He lost his seat after being expelled from the Texas House by a vote of 119–14 after a report found that Moore and F. A. Dale accepted a $1000 bribe from optometrist W. W. Chamberlain to "influence pending legislation and declare their seats vacant".[2][3]
Moore died[4] on October 17, 1955, at the age of 85.
