Hammy TV are an American couple made up of Ryan Boyajian and Jennifer Pedranti Hamilton,[2] who are social media personalities, reality television personalities and digital creators. The couple became engaged on April 11, 2024.[3]

Background

Ryan was born on July 7, 1986, in Orange County, California.[4][5] He has a bachelor's degree in Science, Economics, Sociology and History from Florida State University.[6] He is the Vice President of Operations at Boyajian Brokerage.[7][8]

Shohei Ohtani case

Boyajian was alleged to have received money in the case of a fraudulent gambling debt payment scheme[9] leveled against Ippei Mizuhara,[10][11][12] the former interpreter of Los Angeles Dodgers player, Shohei Ohtani.[13][14][15] Boyajian accepted an immunity deal, cooperated with the FBI investigation and no charges were filed against him.[16][17][18]

Relationship and engagement

The couple began having an emotional relationship in 2020, while Jennifer was still legally married to her erstwhile husband, William Hamilton, who filed for a divorce in 2023.[19] Some people who were against Jennifer being in a relationship with Ryan included fellow reality television star Tamra Judge,[20] actress Erika Jayne,[21] and television personality S. E. Cupp; who voiced out her opinion about the relationship on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.[22][23] Regardless, the couple got engaged in 2024,[3][24] and announced the were not going to sign a prenuptial agreement.[25][26][27] Prior to Ryan and Jennifer's engagement, the couple had dated for close to 4 years.[24]

The divorce process for Jennifer's first marriage was dragged out, with differences in child support, spousal support and custody arrangement causing a stalemate.[28][29][30] During the period, one of her kids moved back in with his father,[31][32] and she was evicted from her home at a point due to a payment confusion.[33] The divorce was finalized in June 2024.[34]

Real Housewives of Orange County

Jennifer made her debut on The Real Housewives of Orange County in 2023.[35]

The couple had altercations with Tamra Judge both during their time on the RHOC, and outside the show.[36] In several bust ups during the show, Tamra criticized Jennifer's body,[37] her relationship with Ryan,[20] carried out an unpermitted background check on Ryan,[38] and also the condemned fact that Ryan's named in a fraud case involving Shohei Ohtani,[39][40][41] Jennifer was initially passive about Judge's attitude towards her because they had both had been friends before the show,[42][43] and she was expecting more support from her friend.[44][45] However, she became more assertive and stood up to Judge more as time went by.[43] Judge went on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, and accused Boyajian of knowingly conspiring with Ippei Mizuhara to defraud Shohei Ohtani.[40] The coupled sued Tamra Judge for defamation,[36][46][47] who subsequently backpedaled amid legal action and put out two public apologies to the couple.[48][49]

The couple have a combined followership of 25 million followers across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube on their HammyTV channel.[50][51][1] They make content together as a pair.[52] Their content focuses on couple comedy and shared experiences.[53][54] One of the content was wearing a New York Yankees' jersey to Boston Red Sox's game, amongst others.[55] The couple have over 1 billion views.[56][1]
