Haiden Deegan (born January 10, 2006) is an American professional Motocross and Supercross racer competing in the AMA Supercross and Motocross championships.[1] He is a two-time 250cc SMX Champion, and a one-time AMA Motocross 250cc Champion.

Amateur career

Deegan spent most of his amateur career on KTM. He signed with Yamaha in October of 2021.

During his tenure with KTM, Deegan landed a backflip when he was 10 years old on a 65cc.

As an amateur, Deegan won seven Loretta Lynn’s Amateur Championship titles. His titles are as follows: [2]

Supercross

As a rookie, Deegan had a very successful Supercross campaign. Deegan placed 4th in his debut 250cc SX race at round 4, Houston.[3] His first of three podiums would arise at Daytona.[4] He finished second in the final point standings, thus earning him the 2023 250SX Rookie of the Year award.

Motocross Season

Deegan overachieved in his first full national season with six podium finishes along with two wins, which led him to a 4th place finish in the championship, thus earning him the 2023 250MX Rookie of the Year award.

SuperMotocross

Deegan won the first moto in the inaugural SuperMotocross championship at round one in Charlotte Motor Speedway. He would place fifth in the second moto for an overall finish of third. Deegan captured the inaugural 250cc SuperMotocross championship at round three in LA Coliseum with a 5-2 score for 1st.

2024

Supercross

Deegan won round 7, 13, and 17. He also compiled a few other podiums. But with the rough opening round with a 16th place and a 9th place at round 9 he would wind up finishing 2nd in the points standings.

Motocross season

Deegan won 5 out of 11 rounds of his second full national season to capture the 2024 pro 250 motocross championship.

SuperMotocross

Defending his #1 plate Deegan won 5 out of the 6 SMX motos to capture his second 250 SMX championship.

Personal life

He is the son of professional freestyle motocross rider and racing driver Brian Deegan and younger brother of NASCAR driver Hailie Deegan and his younger brother Huckson Deegan Who races Supermini.[6]

He grew up around freestyle riders like Ronnie Faisst and other Metal Mulisha riders.

He has taken some of his earnings and invested them into rental properties.
