Guangzhou Alpha F.C.
Guangzhou Alpha Football Club, also known as Guangzhou Anhua (Chinese: 广州安华足球俱乐部), is a football club based in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. The club competes in the China Champions League, the fourth tier of Chinese football.[1]
History
[edit]Guangzhou Alpha F.C. has close ties with Guangzhou R&F Football Club, serving as one of its satellite teams. The club adopted R&F's training philosophy and tactical style Although officially established in 2013, Guangzhou Alpha began its transformation into a competitive team in 2019[2][3][4][5]
In 2020, the Guangzhou Football Association conducted a youth team selection process, dividing players into two groups. The top-performing players formed the Guangzhou Football Association team (Guangzhou Leopards), while the remaining players joined Guangzhou Alpha for additional training. These players became the foundation of Guangzhou Alpha's youth development program, which later evolved into the Guangzhou Youth Training Team (Guangzhou Anhua).
