Gorna Ǵonovica (Macedonian: Горна Ѓоновица, Albanian: Gjonovic e Epërme) is a village in the municipality of Gostivar, North Macedonia.
Name
[edit]The name stems from the Albanian name Gjon plus the Slavic suffix ov/ica.[1]
Demographics
[edit]As of the 2021 census, Gorna Ǵonovica had 40 residents with the following ethnic composition:[2]

According to the 1942 Albanian census, Gorna Ǵonovica was inhabited by 227 Serbs.[4]
