Gola Range is a village in Haldwani Tehsil, Nainital District, Uttarakhand, India. It lies near the district border with Udham Singh Nagar District, about 33 kilometres southeast of the district capital Nainital, and 13 kilometres southeast of the tehsil capital Haldwani. As of 2011, it had a population of 2,297.[1]
Geography
[edit]Gola Range is located to the southwest of Uttarakhand State Highway 41. The village has an area of 2417.5 hectares.
Demographics
[edit]According to the 2011 India Census, there were 401 households. Out of the 2,297 inhabitants, 1,162 are male and 1,135 are female. The overall literacy rate was 74.03%, with 813 of the male residents and 635 of the female residents being literate.[1]
