A single woman afraid of sex is confronted when her sister visits with her boyfriend.

History

[edit]

The original Broadway production was directed by Jack Garfein and produced by Cheryl Chrawford starring Shelley Winters, Arthur Storch, Pat Hingle and George Peppard, plus a title song by Stephen Sondheim. This reached Broadway in November.[1][2][3]

It had only a short run.

Variety wrote the play has "flashy scenes, frustrating moments and a generally confused state. It may have a fair engagement.[4]
