Gianni DeCenzo (born October 27, 2001) is an American actor, mainly recognized for his role as Demetri Alexopoulos in the martial arts series Cobra Kai (2018–2025).[1][2][3]
DeCenzo was born in Los Angeles in 2001. After appearing in some television commercials and short films, in the early 2010s he began to record small appearances in television series such as Dark Wall, The Middle, Eagleheart and Back in the Game. In 2015, he played the role of Arthur Pickwickle in the children's series 100 Things to Do Before High School and in 2019 he played Caleb Williger for six episodes in the series Coop & Cami Ask the World.[4]
In 2018, he was cast as Demetri Alexopoulos in the television series Cobra Kai, a sequel to The Karate Kid films,[5] and has remained with the show until its conclusion in 2025.[6][7] DeCenzo's Krav Maga studies helped him prepare for the role.[8][9]
