George Thomas Stahel Farmer (born c. 1989) is a British entrepreneur, businessman and activist.[1] He is the former chairman of Turning Point UK and the former CEO of Parler and Parlement Technologies.[2]

He is the husband of American political commentator Candace Owens.[3] Farmer is also the son of Michael Farmer, Baron Farmer.[4]

Biography

[edit]

Farmer attended Oxford, where he earned a degree in theology.[5] While there, he was a member of the Bullingdon Club.[6][7]

He took over as CEO of Parler, and its parent company Parlement Technologies, in May 2021.[8][9][10][11] It was during Farmer's tenure as CEO when Kanye West tried to take over the social networking service.[12] In April 2023, it was announced he would step down from his role as CEO.[13][14][15]

Farmer proposed marriage to Candace Owens via a FaceTime call on December 29, 2018, 18 days after meeting each other for the first time in London,[16][17] and married in 2019 in Trump Winery.[18] They have three children[16] and reside in Nashville, Tennessee.[19][20] Farmer is a Catholic.[21]
