The Galleria Mall is a four-story shopping center located in the Golf neighborhood on Colonel Lukusa Avenue, in Gombe, Kinshasa, directly opposite Le Premier shopping mall.[1][2] Constructed by HY Group, led by Hassan Yahfouti, it was officially inaugurated on 28 June 2024, in a ceremony attended by notable figures such as the First Lady of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Denise Nyakeru Tshisekedi, and media personality Naomi Dangbele.[3]
History
[edit]The Galleria Mall was officially inaugurated on 28 June 2024, in a high-profile ceremony attended by Congolese First Lady Denise Nyakeru Tshisekedi and renowned media personality Naomi Dangbele.[1][3] The construction, led by HY Group under Hassan Yahfouti, began in 2021 and has since become a landmark in Gombe, Kinshasa.[3] The mall's standout characteristic is its skybridge that connects it to the adjacent Le Premier shopping mall.[3] Designed to offer Kinshasa's residents and the wider Congolese public a premium shopping experience, the mall features restaurants, bars, terraces, clothing boutiques, entertainment venues, and gaming areas, with products from both local and international brands.[3]
