The Flag of Pichincha (Spanish: Bandera de Pichincha) was officially adopted on May 8th, 1979 by the provincial government of Pichincha.

[edit]The flag is a vertical bicolour the golden yellow represents the wealthy rich culture of the province, red represents the blood shed by the heroes of the Battle of Pichincha of 1822.
State flag
[edit]The state flag is used by the provincial government. The state flag is marked with the shield (Spanish: Escudo) on the center.
