Chaleur du sang (Fire in the Blood), published in 2007, is a novel by Irène Némirovsky.[1]

On Bookmarks January/February 2008 issue, a magazine that aggregates critic reviews of books, the book received a (4.0 out of 5) based on critic reviews with the critical summary saying, "A few cited some purple prose, a clunky narrator, and a rather unremarkable love story, but Némirovsky's insight into human nature more than compensates for these flaws".[2] Globally, Complete Review saying on the consensus "Generally quite impressed, though many not exactly bowled over by the story".[3]
