Michael P 02:21, 4 September 2009 (UTC)Michael P This is what I know about this image. According to Piers Munro, Scatter Blues (depicted), this group photograph was taken by Janie Greenspun at a luncheon at her house in 1966. It was likely not copyrighted. Fred Cole (also depicted) forwarded the image to Behemoth Records as an insert for re-release of The Weeds 45 RPM in 1987. I am the photographer of the Behemoth Records insert, as shown in the article. Therefore, I am not certain what tag to apply. Originally, I placed it as a GNU, Public Domain. After the 'speedy deletion' notice, I placed a pre-1978 copyright tag, since the photograph was taken in 1966, so if, in fact, it was copyrighted I thought this would cover this pre-1978 image. There is nothing on the Behemoth Records insert indicating it is copyrighted. Please advise the appropriate tag to keep the image in place with the article. Is it not Public Domain as originally tagged in Jan. 2008? Thank you —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mselinsky (talkcontribs)

Michael P 03:00, 31 August 2009 (UTC)Michael P Image of "Weeds and Scatter Blues Together" has been attributed to Public Domain and is an integral part of the Teenbeat Club article. What is the rationale for speedy deletion of this image, and what is recommended to keep it in place?

Prior to me listing it you declared it PD-self. Now you declare that it PD no copyright notice prior to 1978 . Is this an album insert? Is there not any copyright info anywhere in the album materials? ccwaters (talk) 17:59, 2 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, it looks like it was published in 1987. ccwaters (talk) 18:05, 2 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Michael, can you scan the entire CD/LP insert and upload to Flickr or Imageshack for us to see? That would be helpful. Thanks. howcheng {chat} 16:57, 28 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
