Pronunciation of "Mnuchin"
[edit]I've noticed that the name Mnuchin is mispronounced in this audio file as "mə-NOO-chin". Although that is consistent with the pronunciation shown in the Steven Mnuchin Wikipedia article, Mr. Mnuchin would most likely prefer it to be pronounced as "mə-NOO-shin". That is, with a "sh" sound at the beginning of the final syllable, not "ch". I base this on the way he pronounces his own name. See time mark 4:16 of the video of him taking the oath of office to become US Secretary of the Treasury. Although Vice President Pence incorrectly says Mnuchin's name as "mə-NOO-chin", Mr. Mnuchin speaks his name immediately afterward, saying "mə-NOO-shin". The pronunciation in this audio file and the Wikipedia article need to be corrected.
Also, I believe the speaker that created this audio file has a British accent. The accuracy of the pronunciation would be improved if the name were spoken by someone with a North American accent, one more similar to Mr. Mnuchin's own accent. --Lance E Sloan (talk) 06:54, 29 July 2017 (UTC)
