I created this image for Wikipedia for Mars article, made from my Full Sky software, and touched up a bit with MSPaint. I could find NO better graphics online showing the motion of Mars. (Besides my own website at [1])

If I can make a better image later, I'll upload it - mainly I ought to label dates on each dot of the path, like the first of the month, but an acceptable start. I suppose a white background might be better if somone to print it?

Anyway if anyone can make a better image, I'm glad for an upload to replace this. :)

P.S. I found the retrograde motion article has a comparable plot for Mars 2009-2010 Image:Retrograde_mars_2009-2010-2.jpg (although THAT graph is actually qualitively incorrect as best I can tell!) Tom Ruen 20:48, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
