Nederlands: Inscriptie op de spreukband bij Elisabeth: Et unde michi hoc q[uo]d mater d[omi]ni mei venit ad me (Wat valt mij te beurt, dat de moeder van mijn Heer naar mij toekomt?, Luc. 1:43). Op de spreukband bij Maria: Magnificat a[n]i[m]a mea d[omi]n[u]m. Et exultavit sp[iritu]s meus i[n] deo salutalutari (sic) meo (Mijn ziel prijst groot de Heer, mijn geest jubelt van vreugde in God, mijn redder, Luc. 1:46, 47). Op de rots bij de engelen: Gloria in exelsis deo (Eer aan God in den hoge, Luc. 2:14). Boven de openstaande deur van het huis rechts het opschrift: Civitas Juda (Stad van Juda).
