English: Garter stall plate of John Beaumont, 4th Baron Beaumont (1360/1-1396) Quarterly: 1st and 4th, Azure semy-de-lis a

Lion rampant Or (Beaumont); 2nd and 3rd, Azure three Garbs Or (Comyn), with a gold helm

covered with a blue mantling sown with gold fleurs-de-lis and lined ermine. The crest is: on

a Cap of Estate Azure semy-de-lis Or turned up Ermine a Lion passant of the second. The

arms of Comyn came into the Beaumont family through the marriage of the 1st Baron

Beaumont with Alice Comyn.
