Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift is an upcoming steel spinning launched roller coaster at Universal Studios Hollywood set to open in 2026. It is manufactured by Intamin and themed to the Fast & Furious film franchise.
Development
[edit]In May 2022, a Fast & Furious–themed roller coaster was revealed to be in development at Universal Studios Hollywood.[1][2] On January 8, 2023, the stage shows Animal Actors on Location and Special Effects Stage closed down to make way for the attraction.[3][4] On July 12, 2023, it was announced that the coaster began construction.[5][4][6] On May 3, 2024, Universal announced that the coaster, revealed as "Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift", will open in 2026 and will be the park's "first ever high-speed outdoor roller coaster".[7][8]
