"Fannie Mae" is a 1959 song, written and performed by the American blues and R&B singer, Buster Brown.[1]
The track made it into the Top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100, and to number one on the US Billboard R&B chart in April 1960.[2] AllMusic's Vladimir Bogdanov called the song "one of the most undiluted blues records to ever make the Top 40."[3]
