Fabrizio "Fabrice" Testa (born 1968) is a Belgian-Italian entrepreneur, investor, author, and public speaker, recognized for his significant contributions to the NewSpace and deep tech industries. He is the co-founder of Maana Electric and Atmos Space Cargo and is known for creating the CRAZY Method™, a framework for entrepreneurial success. [1]

Early Life and Education

Testa was born in 1968 in Belgium to Benito Testa, a steelworker and amateur painter, and Berthe Breulet, an office clerk. His entrepreneurial mindset was influenced by his grandfather, a successful Sicilian merchant. [2]

Testa graduated with a degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Liège in 1991 and later completed his military service as an officer in the Belgian Air Force. He also holds a business management degree from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management. Additionally, he pursued executive education at prestigious institutions such as the MIT Sloan School of Management (Strategy and Innovation), Berkeley Haas School of Business (Venture Capital), and Harvard University. Testa began his career in 1991, working in the field of optomechanics for the space and astronomy industries. He then transitioned into entrepreneurship by founding a company that pioneered interactive touchscreen kiosks in McDonald’s playgrounds. [3]

Digital Cinema Transformation

In 2005, Testa was a key contributor to a major project to digitalize European cinemas, securing nearly €150 million in investments and generating over €100 million in revenue. This project significantly transformed the European cinema industry. [3]

NewSpace Ventures

In 2012, Testa launched a satellite services company in Luxembourg, which was later acquired in 2015. He co-founded Maana Electric in 2018, a company focused on lunar exploration and green energy solutions, and in 2023, he co-founded Atmos Space Cargo, which specializes in space logistics. [3]

Since 2016, Testa has invested in numerous NewSpace, defense, and deep tech companies. He served on the board of the Luxembourg Business Angels Network and chaired the space executive committee of the European Business Angels Network (EBAN) for three years. He has also co-chaired the Luxembourg Space Tech Angels Network and served as a senator at the World Business Angels Investment Forum (WBAF). [2]

Testa has judged startup competitions such as the Copernicus Accelerator, Innovators Under 35 Europe, and Challenging Minds. He has also mentored through programs like Astropreneur, Fit4Start, Cassini Accelerator, and EUDIS. [2]

In 2021, Testa published the Amazon best-seller Super-Entrepreneurship Decoded, in which he introduced the CRAZY Method™. This framework, which stands for Catapulting ambition, Rock-solid planning, Amazing solutions, Zeitgeist understanding, and fostering a Yamakasi mindset, has been adopted by entrepreneurs worldwide to develop breakthrough businesses.
