On 21 October 2024, the European Broadcasting Union announced that Yerevan would be host to Eurovision Young Musicians 2026.[1][2] This announcement came after Armenia made a return to the contest in 2024, marking their first participation in twelve years, choosing to hold a televised selection spanning several weeks at the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall.[3] This will be the first time ever that Armenia hosts Eurovision Young Musicians.[4]
