Ethan Joseph Wheatley (born 20 January 2006) is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker for EFL League Two club Walsall, on loan from Premier League club Manchester United. He is an England youth international.[4]
Club career

[edit]After coming through the Manchester United Academy he signed a professional contract with the club in January 2024.[5] He made his Premier League debut on 24 April against Sheffield United in a 4–2 victory, becoming the 250th academy graduate to make his debut for United's senior team.[6][7]
Loan to Walsall
[edit]On 25 January 2025, Wheatley joined League Two leaders Walsall on loan for the remainder of the season.[8][9][10]
International career
[edit]He has been capped at England U17 level.[11] In May 2024, he was called-up to the England national under-18 football team.[12] He made a goalscoring debut during a 4–2 win over Northern Ireland at St. George's Park.[13]
On 7 September 2024, Wheatley made his England U19 debut during a 1–1 draw away to Croatia.[14]
