The Enron Code of Ethics is a 64-page booklet that was published by Enron Corporation,[1] the last known edition of which was in 1 July 2000.[2]
The sale of copies of the booklet on eBay has passed into internet folklore.[citation needed] An article in the San Francisco Chronicle for 11 February 2002 reported a final bid level on one copy of USD 202.50.[3][failed verification] In another sale on eBay the booklet was sold together with a cup, also allegedly an Enron product, which featured text extolling the virtues of the Enron retirement plan.[citation needed]
